Scottsdale CC hires Harrison as Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Scottsdale Community College announced the hiring of Zachary Harrison as its new head men’s basketball coach.

Harrison has spent the past six seasons as an assistant coach under Steve Silsby with Chandler-Gilbert Community College. In that time the Coyotes have shined in both the classroom and on the court. This past season the Coyotes produced a 3.72 team GPA. They have won 68 games over the past three years and advanced to the Region Championship in each of the last two.

Prior to his time at CGCC, Harrison made coaching stops in Vermont. He was an assistant coach at Vermont State University Lyndon (formerly Lyndon State College) and also the associate varsity head coach at Harwood High School.

Harrison will begin with SCC effective today.
